SHOOTING opportunities abound during Outdoor Adventure Days! It is taking place at a public shooting range, after all. There are no age restrictions. If you're new to shooting, don't worry; we'll show you the ropes. We'll provide the guns and ammunition for you to take five shots for free.

Shotgun and Rifle

Maybe it's been awhile since you've fired a gun. Maybe it's your first time. Either way, we'll have experts on hand to get you started and to do it safely.

Muzzleloader and Cowboy Action

Learn how to load and shoot a muzzleloader from our local mountain men. Choose between five rounds of cowboy action shooting with a .22 rifle or with a pistol.

.50 Caliber

You must be 18 years of age or older to shoot the .50 caliber. On June 9, we have four spots available every 30 minutes, from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sign up for a June 9 spot here. On June 10, we have four spots available every 30 minutes, from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Sign up for a June 10 spot here.

Five-stand Shooting

Five stand — a cross between trap, skeet and sporting clays — is a stern test of skill. This style of shooting mimics hunting scenarios. It's more action-packed than trap and has more crossing/flying patterns than skeet. Come give it a try!

United States Practical Shooting Association

USPSA will be in attendance, demonstrating three-gun and practical shooting. Try your hand at blending accuracy, power and speed into a winning combination. Multiple targets, moving targets, targets that react when hit, penalty targets, or even partially covered targets, obstacles, movement, competitive strategies, and other techniques are all a part of USPSA to keep shooters challenged and spectators engaged.
